Walnut Wishes
This renovation reimagined a traditional kitchen and living area with a more contemporary, streamlined aesthetic tailored to the clients’ own design style. Slab-front walnut cabinetry, panel-ready appliances, and minimal hardware create a clean architectural backdrop, while relocating the cooktop from the island allows for an uninterrupted workspace and an upgrade to induction cooking. Careful planning of every cabinet and drawer maximizes storage and function, while a custom banquette—the client’s lifelong dream—anchors the dining area across from the kitchen. The adjacent living space was also updated with a larger fireplace, a new dry bar, and updated furnishings, resulting in a warm, modern gathering place designed for everyday living and entertaining.
